I was lucky enough never to have to see Waffle House’s great resilience first-hand in the few years we lived in the south, but they will still always hold a special place for my family.     I so wish they had the northward push that CFA have had in recent years. We will still plan trips south of Michigan around stopping for breakfast at the closest Waffle House (in Toledo).
