    1. Recently, the University Senate at @michigantech adopted a resolution (mtu.edu/senate/policies-procedures/proposals-year/2020-21/41-21.pdf) strongly supporting anti-racism efforts at MTU. That's news to celebrate, and I hope it turns into concrete actions that make my alma mater a better, more equitable institution. 1/

    Unfortunately, I found out about it this weekend because a @michigantech faculty member has called for the withdrawal of & apology for that resolution by the University Senate on the basis that the resolution itself is racist. 2/ @Dvrk_Kate/1352725704857686016
