The announcement that @CMUniversity classes were going online happened Wednesday at 1 PM. My wife just got her first note from an instructor about what that means for her classes a 9:20 AM Sunday. I don’t think that’s acceptable.On twitter.com

@CMUniversity I understand the need for time to make plans, but: 1) planning should have started weeks ago (and I know in at least some critical IT areas, it didn’t) and… 2) our students deserved to have good expectations set by the faculty right away, even if that was just: “stay tuned”Permalink On twitter.com

@CMUniversity I really hope that our family’s experience has been atypical, but I worry it hasn’t. I’m heartened by updates to the university’s response, but we’re still playing catch up more than we should.
