  1. @SestraCast can verify the utility of tampons as first aid tools. My brother in law was biking in the mountains and punctured his femoral artery. One of his companions blocked the wound with a tampon and that was enough for them to get down the mountain and to an ambulance.

      @SestraCast He had to be stabilized and then airlifted to do surgery, but that tampon saves his life.
