      @NoBrakesTHG I don’t think it’s clear how the UK’s civil partnerships (which are essentially marriages in all but name) would be treated. Up until very recently those were only available to same-sex couples, but are now an alternative to marriage for same- or opposite-sex couples.

    @NoBrakesTHG It will be an interesting test to see if they grant an exception for an opposite-sex civil partnership from the UK, which would expose this move for the bigotry is really is.
